Abel
Four people were all and sundry on Earth. The first two brothers, Cain and Abel, seeing their parents decided to offer God a little of what each one had. Abel offered little but the choicest of his grain as an act of gratitude to God. Cain, poor in feelings of love and cunning, gathered from the hunt the entrails and that they were for throwing to offer them as a sacrifice. But God, seeing the intention, allowed that the smoke of the sacrifice not only did not go straight like that of his brother Abel, but came to his face. This event enraged him so much that, moved by envy, he took a pointed stone and killed his brother. The first undead blood on the then desolate Earth. God took the unrighteous Abel to him because he also looked like the One who centuries later would be crucified by the unjust and again driven by envy Jews. His memory is commemorated on the Sunday before the Nativity of Christ
