Saint Thomas

One of the 12 apostles. He was absent during the first appearance of the Lord after the Resurrection for this and initially disbelieved in His Resurrection. After 8 days, the Lord appeared again among them, telling the Apostle Thomas to come and put his finger "in the shape of a horse" and his palm on his lanky side. Then Thomas enthusiastically shouted "my Lord and my God, glory be to you". we now know that the Virgin Mary was "transferred" to Heaven. Eventually the Apostle Thomas, after receiving a lot for India, reached this distant country where he proclaimed the Word of God and testified for Christ.
