 He was born in Rome to Christian parents. He developed a great missionary activity in the city and for this he was arrested by the emperor Antoninus. After seeing that the Saint did not sacrifice material goods and promises to the idols, she ordered and they put her in a boiler with hot oil. Thinking that the executioners did not burn the oil, the emperor asked to see if it was really hot and the saint threw his hand in his face. Antoninos was immediately blinded and asked the saint to heal him. She healed him and the emperor believed in Christ, freed the Saint and stopped the persecutions against the Christians. She was given the name Friday because she was born on a Friday.
