Anastasia the  Farmakolytria (December 22)

Saint Anastasia was originally from Rome. She married at a young age, Poplion, Lord of the Romans and fanatical pagan. Despite this, Saint Anastasia was indoctrinated with the word of Christ and received Divine Baptism. Because she did not publicly show her Christian faith, she secretly provided help to those in need and supplied them with medicine. That's why she was also called "Pharmakolytria". When Poplion was informed of her action, he ordered her imprisonment. Finally, the Saint surrendered her spirit to the pyre in 290 AD. Part of the Saint's Body is located in the Holy Monastery of Koutloumoussi on Mount Athos. She is considered the patron saint of Pharmacists and her memory is commemorated on December 22
