The whole of Christianity celebrates the Day of the Resurrection. On Friday, however, we celebrate again the mother of the Risen Christ, the one who honored more than any other woman in the world, with the name Zoodochos Pigi tou Baloukli or Panagia Baloukliotissa. there were the so-called "palaces of the springs" in which the Byzantine Emperors rested in the Spring. It takes its name from the Turkish name Balık (= fish) and includes the monastery, the church and the holy water.
